So I have my skyrim pretty heavily modded, but even with enb running, I can get 55-60 fps anywhere in the entire game, including large towns and the main skyrim map. However, after 15-30 minutes of playing, whenever I go outdoors my FPS will suddenly fall to 10-15. Aug 14, 2011 Just something I found whilst testing ENB settings, in ENB Anisotropic filtering (AF) is by default set to 16x, and there is no fps cap in ENB by default either. For me personally, a large amount of the performance hit caused by ENB is actually from the anisotropic filtering, this is surprising because AF is usually described as having very. Highest FPS drops are in Riften so I used Riften for FPS testing. Other random cities and places I tried seems fine. With all mods on I get stable 43 FPS inside and outside Riften (I don't use any mod that highly modifies Riften + at the end I will add mod list to be sure). Boris, who runs the ENB Series, makes custom directx dll's that try to improve performance and graphics for games that can benefit from it. So I have my skyrim pretty heavily modded, but even with enb running, I can get 55-60 fps anywhere in the entire game, including large towns and the main skyrim map. However, after 15-30 minutes of playing, whenever I go outdoors my FPS will suddenly fall to 10-15. When I disable ENB, this problem vanishes, so I'm fairly certain that this is the cause. I have the skyrim memory patcher active in order to stop CTD's, but I've had this issue instead ever since.
It seems to be related to loading screens, because it happens faster when I've been going around more. If I warp around Skyrim about 10-20 times, the FPS drop occurs. This is without going into any new areas, only staying in the large Skyrim proper, and only warping to nearby areas.
Any help on this issue would be appreciated.

Location: Russia | I can't get this issue without mods installed, will try to enter/leave locations 100 times then, but it's the kind of thing which can't be debugged then.

Posts: 2 | Sounds like an enblocal.ini issue. What is your GPU and what are you ENBlocal.ini settings? I have the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 670. I'm not too tech savvy, but this should be one of the higher end graphics cards. Here's my enblocal.ini. Location: Russia | Tried to run with huge speed, enter various interiors and exit them, but statistics of memory usage by ENBoost do not show memory leaks, so i can't see this issue myself and debug it.

Location: Earth | seems like you are out of memory, try this for a size. my config plus Shelson's fix. works for me, never had a problem. on latest ENB's and Nvdia's driver

Location: Earth | how would you know it does not work with my config? have you been up to date with latest ENB and change logs? does my video card have 8GB of vram? you did not know that you can up your VideoMemorySizeMb past your physical vram and to be shared with system rams? you should read every ENB releases change logs. i know Boris has put a lot of efforts in it, don't be dismissive of his work

Posts: 289 | I doubt that reserving 512mb's will help with this FPS drop. It'll get worse i believe.
And i've seen a completely different information about assigning huge VideoMemorySizeMb not long ago.
And with all this 'We love you Boris' stuff, you guys already started to sound like 'We want you to never move anywhere from developing ENB'.
